How to handle player grouping using Oculus Platform Solutions
I've been trying to set up a system in my PvP game to have users be able to group up and queue up for battle as a team, and I thought that I would be able to set this up using the Oculus Group Presence APIs, but the more I read the documentation (outlined here https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/unity/ps-platform-intro/), the more confused I get.
I was hoping to use the Invite to App feature (outlined here https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/unity/ps-invite/) to allow players to group up with their Oculus friends and then move them to a separate Unity scene where they can be queued up for matchmaking together. However, I'm having trouble figuring out which classes and functions to use for many of these actions because the documentation refers to a number of different group structures, some of which aren't explicitly explained, and others which don't have any details about their implementation.
Basically, my question is this: what is the difference between Rosters, Parties, Rooms, Group Presences, Lobbies, and Matches (the last two mentioned but not explained here https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/unity/ps-multiplayer-overview/) and which of these will I actually need to be using for this kind of player group setup?
