How to make things look smaller from inside?

Hello everyone,
I'm using Unity5.6 and Rift CV1 for my game, a flight simulation game.
So there is a Camera for the pilot in the cockpit.
But I have a trouble that the cockpit(or aircraft) seems quite bigger than reality.
However, no matter how I adjust the Scale of the aircraft, it always looks the same from inside of cockpit.
Changing the FOV doesn't satisfy the requirement of Rift rendering.
so I'm seeking for any good advice from you...

Can you post a screenshot to show this maybe? Might help.

    Just like this:
It's hard to screen shot through VR camera, so this screenshot is from plain camera.
Screenshots in different Scales are identical, so I just post only one here.

  • Interesting, is it only the aircraft? Do other models exhibit this behavior?

Well, It's a problem of Unity, rather than Oculus's, since the screenshots from plain Camera are identical. So it leads to identical imaging in Oculus.
Obviously, If a camera was put inside of a cube or sphere, you always get the identical image no matter how you adjust the SCALE of the object.
It's OK when we don't use VR, because we have no reference. However if we put on VR headset, we have our own body to refer, and then weird things happen.
