@imperativity, if I may comment, I think the Getting Started docs for Oculus Go need some serious work. Developing and deploying to GO is much more complicated than developing for the Rift. I'm struggling with it myself.
The "Everything You Need To Know" page reveals almost nothing you actually need to know. It lists recommended versions of Unity/Unreal (helpful) and then dives 10,000 feet deep into fixed foveated rendering, dynamic throttling, performance tuning and optimization. Those details aren't really needed until an application is done.
None of that is helpful. Developers need step by step documentation on how to get started. Right now it's a spaghetti mess of links. I've been trying to wade through it all and I'm running into problems left or right.
Developers just want to get everything set up so they can deploy a basic app. That help is not available in an easy to digest format.
A video where you guys walk through the entire process would be immensely helpful and probably help prevent a lot of questions.
Right now I'm hoping someone in the community like Fuseman tackles this, because it's not coming from Oculus, sadly.
I'll try to provide specific of where I'm getting stuck. In general, I'm just not sure I'm taking the right steps because they are listed all over the place.
