How to use OVROverlay with text in Unity?

How do I use OVROverlay with text in Unity to make it look better in VR? Do I put it on the canvas or on the gameobject that has the text component? Or does it support Unity text at all? (I don'...

Any update on this? I can see how to use OVROverlay with an existing texture, but not dynamic text.
