HydraDeck help

Hey.
So I got the HydraDeck positional tracking working with my game. It works fine however there are some things I was looking to change, and also quite a large problem.

Firstly the big problem. For some reason when I walk up to an object and turn left or right, sometimes it throws the entire character controller around the map and the game freezes up for a while, I have no idea why this happens. It's like the collider collides with the world, and then turning in game messes up the positioning some how. Has anybody ran into this issue or know how to fix it?

Secondly, how can I make the tracking a bit more accurate? What I mean is, right now when I calibrate the character, the positional tracking is there, but it isn't very obvious. Crouching down doesn't move you very far down. I was hoping to make it so you crouch and can actually hide behind things. Any ideas what I have to change in calibration to do this?
I know it is possible because moving the left Hydra around will cause me to eventually crouch very low, I think it is more the calibration or something.
Thanks for any help!
