Is Meta Core SDK needed?

I recently updated to Unity 2022 and saw this asset from Meta, my game is made for Oculus but I use HurricaneVR so I do not need avatar or anything like that but, does this asset, or any of the asset...

    Short answer is no, you don't need the Meta Core SDK package. If you're intending to release to the store, I'm not 100% sure if there are some helpers in there that might be needed (manifest validation etc.) but in terms of core XR functinoality, a vanilla Unity project and HurricaneVR will work just fine.
