Issue with Oculus Quest Pro when setting up Unity Editor and ADB
Im trying to setup the Unity VR Preview for the Unity Editor on my Uni's PCs.
Ive set up Oculus and the Linking works fine, but when I try to search in Unity I get an Error: Unauthorized device detected, please add debug authorization and reconnect. System.Threading._ThreadPoolWaitCallback ()
I also cant add the device in the Meta Developer Hub, even though I tried changing the targetet ADB to the unity Debugger

OK I found the solution, had to enable ADB via the phone app. Which is weird because it worked on my other Laptop with that disabled...

hmmm, still not working for me, I wonder if its because I have an offbrand usb plug? I doubt it though because the meta quest link seems to be working fine. Note: i was able to cast the unity program to my headset (at some point though I can't get it back ever since I deleted openxr package in favor of MetaXR only)

Ok, got it to work. I had to do all of the mentioned steps and then, restart my quest 3. Once I did that, a "scary" dialog box comes up about how the connected computer will have full access, blah blah blah. Recommend to hit the "always trust this computer" option below. Now Quest 3 is showing up in the Build Settings -> Android -> Run Device Options. Phew (when theres a problem, restart, lol, been using Linux for so long that I had forgotten this advice)
