Issue with Unity and Link
Hello,
I'm a video game developer working on an app on Unity.
A couple days ago, my Link with Unity started breaking and I haven't been able to recover it yet.
When I prepare my Quest 3S to use Link (via cable) and press play in Unity, my app will become unresponsive and Link will crash and restart, but my app will not respond.
I tried everything I know (factory reset for glasses, reinstall Link , reinstall MQDH), and the only weird thing is that MQDH says Link is Updating, but it will never finish doing so.

same issue here. Since updating Link and MQDH Unity does not start anymore, seems to be stuck in an endless loop somewhere. Unity 2022.3.47f1.
This is a severe issue, as it breaks development completely
- user.188975Honored GuestI’m facing the same issue as you. A few days ago, Unity playback suddenly stopped working. I’ve tried various methods, but the situation is only getting worse. The project that was progressing so well is now ruined.

The only issue I have been having, is I can't submit bugs.
I did have that problem in the past, turned out to be my USB cable. I had to buy a new one. Mine kept connecting and disconnecting even when I was not using the headset.
Connect the headset and try using WiFi and not the USB. Some say it is slower. Air-Link works well for me.
Also, when I have had that problem in the past, I build the APK and installed it on the headset.
I have been writing code for almost 50 years. And I developed a prime directive.
98% of the time when you find an issue, it is you.
1% of the time it is hardware.
0.5% of the time is is evil gremlins taunting me. (I can't prove this one, but I am sure!)
0.5% I found a bug.
More often that not, it was my code that was slow or unresponsive when running on the headset. Try Air-Link.
- user.188975Honored GuestHello, I will describe my situation in detail. While working with repeated playback in Unity, Unity started freezing upon playback. In my case, the issue particularly occurs when placing the Depth API in the scene.Even older projects that should work fine are now all malfunctioning. In a new project, OVRCameraRig, hand tracking, or passthrough alone work without issues. My guess is that there might be a problem with how Quest Link handles spatial data. The same issue occurs with Air-Link as well.Below is what I have verified in the past few days:The Unity version doesn’t matter. I tried with Unity 6 and 2022.The version of the Meta All-in-One SDK doesn’t matter either.Reinitializing Unity, Quest Link, and the Quest 3 device itself did not improve the situation. While a USB cable could be the cause, the fact that the issue only occurs under specific conditions in Unity scenes leads me to believe it might be a bug.I plan to observe the situation a bit longer, and if it doesn’t improve, I will try purchasing a new USB cable.

In case someone is still struggling with this issue,
I've just been able to fix my headset by reinstalling my Nvidia drivers on a clean installation, so the issue has probably something to do with some driver configuration, at least in my case.
Good luck all.
