Lens Correction not working
Hello! I just started to integrate the Oculus in my Unity project this weekend, and I have most of it working decently so far. The main problem I have currently is that the black borders for each eye do not appear, causing the view to be distorted in an unrealistic way (whether I am viewing it on my monitor or with my OR).
I was playing around with the Tuscany demo, and noticed that when I check/uncheck the OVRCameraController's "Lens Correction", I can see the black borders over each eye appear and disappear (both on my monitor and OR). Unfortunately, checking/unchecking the Lens Correction box in my own project doesn't change anything--no black borders ever appear.
I thought I followed all of the steps I was supposed to for OR integration, but I can't figure out what I did wrong or missed. Any ideas?

- cyberealityGrand ChampionAre you still getting a stereo image on the screen (2 images side by side)?
Does head-tracking work?
What version of Unity are you using? We would recommend updating to the latest (currently 4.2).
Do you have other cameras at different depths? You may want to remove them, or at least make sure they are NOT on depth 0 or 1. - mgbesongHonored GuestYes, I'm getting stereo images, and head tracking works fine. I am using Unity 4.2.
I do have another camera in the scene, but it is deactivated (I unchecked the box next to its name in the inspector). Do you still think that might cause the problem? - cyberealityGrand ChampionCan you post a minimal project that has the problem? I can take a look for you.
- mgbesongHonored GuestSorry it's taken me so long to respond, too much "real life" stuff going on lately.
I just created a basic project, threw in a few cubes and planes, and added the OVRCameraController, and the lens correction worked perfectly. When I checked/unchecked the lens correction box, I saw the black borders appear and disappear like they're supposed to.
This makes me even more frustrated that my real project still isn't showing the lens correction. I tried deleting and adding a new OVRCameraController without modifying it--just like I did with the basic scene--and it still doesn't show the black borders.
I could send you the project if you want, maybe through Dropbox? It's about 80mb, and the one scene I'm using isn't particularly complex (almost all objects are added with scripts, aside from the camera and a few other things). - cyberealityGrand ChampionYeah, send me a build if you like. Just PM me if you don't want to make the link public.
- cyberealityGrand ChampionOK, I have found the fix. Here is what you must do:
1) Open your Unity project but do NOT press play.
2) Delete the entire "OVR" folder.
3) Click Assets -> Import Package -> Custom Package. Choose "OculusUnityIntegration.unitypackage".
4) Press play, it should work now. - mgbesongHonored GuestIncredible! It works now! Thank you so much!
