Methods to display text for person not wearing the rift
Hi guys,
in my setup, one person wears the rift and a second person (an instructor of an experiment) just sees the mirrored rift-screen on the PC monitor.
Now the instructor (second person) sould see some text during the gameplay of the person wearing the rift.
Ideally, just the second person sees the text. Which ways would you recommend to do this and how?
I thought of displaying text in the black corners of the screen that are invisible in the rift but visible in the mirror window.
Or is there any other way to print stuff on the monitor and not in the rift (e.g. live view of the Debug console like in the Editor but in the final build ? )
Thanks! Cheers!

- nightbane30Honored GuestYou could try this: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/12047
I'm not sure how well that works, but it's worth a try. I'm in a hurry right now, but when I have more time to search for options, I'll let you know if I find anything. - AndreZHonored GuestHi, thanks for the link.
thats a nice way to view the console in a build but it shows the log in a full-screen way.
What I need is some way to show text that cannot be seen by the person wearing the rift (for example in a second window that can be dragged to the second (mirroring) monitor).
Is that possible with unity? To open up another window when starting the game, just to show some text in it?
Or is there any easy way to render text in the dark/black corners of the frames that go to the rift?
Cheers,AZ
