MoviePlayer in Unity 5.3.4p1 for Gear VR

Hi, i'm currently trying to do a simple 360 movie player for Gear VR under Unity 5.3.4p1.  I tried using the sample included in the mobile sdk (MoviePlayerSample.cs), it works in the Unity editor, ...

I got it working for a few minutes but then it mysteriously broke again. I ended up just using EasyMovieTexture instead, since it has support. It works well although it breaks when things get updated, but he's good at keeping up with it. Also Renderheads has their AVPro Video plugin which looks good as well.
