10 years agonew version of Unity coming with 0.7.0.0 improvements?
Hi -
I'm wondering if a new release of Unity with built-in VR integration is going to be required to get the improvements from 0.7.0.0 SDK/runtime? I would guess yes, but I know the runtime handles a lot of these things, so I wanted to check if there was any reason to move to 0.7.0.0 runtime if you are a Unity developer or if I should wait for a compatible Unity release before moving forward with the new runtime.
Thanks

http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/oculus ... ed.347654/
Official info from Unity in that post from 8/27 is:0.7 runtime is completely function with the latest stable version of Unity with VR: 5.1.2p2.
5.2.0p1 will also be supported, but 5.2.0 will not.
We have a few more 0.7 specific optimizations that will be coming in the next few patch releases. Keep an eye on the release notes.
If people do have 0.7 specific Unity issues, please post them here. Be sure to update your graphics card drivers as Oculus suggests. - drashHeroic ExplorerLooks like I don't browse the Unity forums enough. Thanks for passing on the info ccs!
