"No HMD and Sensor Detected"
I am having a problem both using unity for my own game, and any other demos, where they don't detect my DK2. In the Unity editor it says "No HMD and Sensor Detected". The only things I've got to run correctly so far are Tuscany_DirectToRift.exe in Extended mode, and the Demo Scene in Direct HMD mode. Anyone know what would be stopping Unity from seeing my DK2? Thanks for any help!

- drashHeroic ExplorerHave you updated your DK2's firmware via the Oculus Config Utility -> Tools -> Advanced -> Update Firmware? The firmware should be 2.12 if you're on the 0.4.2 Oculus Runtime.
- mcguinnessdrHonored GuestYes, I have updated the firmware and nothing has changed.
- RodrytakuHonored Guestreconnect usb data cable ;D sometimes it happens
- mcguinnessdrHonored GuestI've unplugged all the cables and plugged them back in multiple times, I have restarted my computer multiple times, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Oculus runtime.
- cyberealityGrand ChampionCan you check in the Unity console and see if there are any errors or warnings?
- mcguinnessdrHonored GuestOk, so the problem is actually different than I thought. I was using Unity free, assuming that it would just tell me that I didn't have the licence to use the Rift instead of giving an error. I started a Unity Pro trial and it works perfectly, but any other games I've downloaded are still not seeing my Rift.
- cyberealityGrand ChampionAre you sure you are trying DK2 compatible games?
See the list here: https://share.oculus.com/category/dk2 - mcguinnessdrHonored GuestI feel silly now. I didn't realize how incompatible DK1 games were with the DK2, I just thought positional tracking wouldn't work. Sorry for all the trouble over nothing.
