Nooooooooooooo - my 125 day trial has ended!!!!
Just as I am starting to get things going and a better understanding of unity - my trial ends.... :oops: :( :cry:

- I don't have any insider information, but I doubt Unity will drop in price significantly. At least not anytime soon.
- This is important information. Unity is astoundingly expensive, and definitely not for indie developers. Perhaps "indie" by comparison to the big shops, but it's implausible that a developer with no pecuniary interest would be able to ever sink their teeth into Unity.
Is UDK on par with Unity in terms of capability? The last time I used UDK you selected a box then hit delete, and that was a room, carved out of some vast world of solidness. Bizarre, to say the least.
