    God damn

Have moved over to UE4 for the past month and have been enjoying learning the visual programming in BluePrints but if Unity free will be getting support for the rift its going to pull me back into unity again. I don't have the time to play with both :(

I know how you feel. First I started with Unreal 3, when it was still free. When I got interested in VR I took the plunge and bought Unity Pro outright, which was quite a hefty chunk of my budget. Then Unreal 4 came out and I instantly regretted my commitment to Unity. Fortunately Unity 5 is just around the corner and I qualify for a free upgrade. The new global illumination feature and light mapping will put it on par again with Unreal 4 again. I still think you made the right move and it is only a matter of time until Unreal will receive the same level of integration. I still think Unreal 4 will probably remain on the top of the food chain for some time to come. I also think software will converge more in the near future than it is already doing.
