ovrlog / Windows Performance Recorder profile
Hello,
in this talk, David Borel says that the Windows Performance SDK can be used to find problem areas in your app. I noticed that the ovrlog command that sets the WPR profile was absent from my Oculus folder (v1.11), so I checked the docs - and apparently it vanished from there between 1.09 and 1.10.
All the best,
John

- https://developer3.oculus.com/documentation/game-engines/1.9/concepts/unity-perf still contains a mention of ovrlog.
- https://developer3.oculus.com/documentation/game-engines/1.10/concepts/unity-perf doesn't, and the whole "Queuing and System-Level Contention" section is missing, despite being referenced as "see below" in the same document.
All the best,
John

- JohnDeHonored GuestThanks. Is there any way to tag David Borel? If I remember correctly, he promised in the talk to tell us later how to contact him, but it seems that got lost.
- vrdavebOculus StaffThat would be me! Feel free to PM!
