Prevent touch controllers from sleeping?
Hello! I'm making an app in Unity which tracks subtle movements of one touch controller over a few minutes without any button presses, and it works great... except for when the touch controller falls asleep and I have to press a button to wake it up, disrupting the 'recording' of the subtle movements.
I'm not sure if this falling asleep is the intended behaviour while the Rift is running, but it's happened in a couple of other apps for me (it caused me to run off a cliff and die in Chronos, for example). It doesn't just disconnect randomly or when out of sensor range; it just seems to fall asleep when there hasn't been any button input for a while, even if the controller has been moving around.
Since my app depends upon tracking these subtle movements without button input, ideally I'd like to know if there's a way for Unity to keep waking the touch controller up via code. I've done some searching, but haven't found an answer. Any help would be appreciated!

- MikeFTrusteei get the same behavior, the only way i've found to keep it active is to ensure that one of the capacitance sensors is reading high. I'd also like to know if its possible to stop sleeping since our game has moments where the player is just resting waiting for their turn and this frequently causes hands to disappear
- ConstellationAdventurerSee this thread; apparently Oculus is working on it but there's no fix yet.
