Query if Rift available?

I'm trying to find out at game start if a Rift is connected, but I cannot find any matching query in the Rift SDK. I'm pretty sure I overlook it somewhere. How can I query if a Rift is connected?

    Just posted about this not long ago right here. Hope that helps.

    By the way, thank you for RiftRacer. Early classic that I'll never forget. :D Any updates coming for that, or are you onto other stuff these days?

    Hehe, good to hear with Rift Racer. Actually, due to 2 harddisk crashes at the same time I lost the sources of the actual version of Rift Racer, but I plan to do a new(er) version with more cool stuff in. Currently working on a (contract gig) rollercoaster game for the Rift.
