I face the problem that after I use quest's built-in hand gesture recentering function to recenter my view, the virtual view get recentered but the passthrough view get mis-aligned.
Need help ! Thx

  • Hi there,

I'm not sure to understand what is the exact nature of your problem.
Could you please provide a video capture of the problem occurring? If a video isn't feasible, two still captures showing the passthrough view before and after you recenter would also be very helpful.

Yes, you can start a capture from within the headset while using it. A MP4 file will be available in your device storage and then can be transferred to a desktop computer.

    Hi,
I have this problem as well. If I use the build recenter fucntion (no matter if using controller or hand tracking), the passthrough gets misaligned. The only way I can fix that is by entering and leaving system passthrough through double tap on headset. The passthrough is set to Reconstructed and Underlay.
Here's a link to a video I recorded, where you can see the issue:

The problem happens when using quest link and in build.

      OK.
      Thanks for the video.
I never met this problem as I don't use the pass through at all.
But it seems there's a real issue either in Horizon OS, either in Unity XR Meta layer...

The only thing I can do is post screenshots from your video to help make it obvious that there's a real problem here, in case someone competent comes here (I don't expect a feedback from Meta, prove me wrong).
