reflection error

tdlr// my reflections dont work what are your guys methods to make reflections work with the rift.

hey guys ive been developing a vr walk through of apartment unit. ive been using the surface reflection script and fx/surface reflection shader. which works great in standard view but when the oculus is running. the reflections show a mixture of views from both the right and left camera. so now i need a new way to handle my reflections any info or tips would be appreciated i hope to have a demo scene available for you guys soon. (once approved by the higher ups that is)

  • I have encountered this issue as well with unity's implementation of water reflection. It seems that the two cameras can't agree on what reflection they want to show sometimes due to the difference in angle with the stereo camera set up.

    I came here looking for an answer to this issue. It happens to me as well when I use the Pro Only Water, it is quite odd it happens only on the left camera and at a distance.
  • Reflections currently do not work in Unity with the Rift.

    As you are suggesting, the cameras conflict with each other as the reflection is not rendered per camera.
