Rift DK2 problems with Ati Catalyst
With demos it works. But with Project Cars and Assetto Corsa not. ATI Catalyst for R9 280x only recognizes rift activated on the extend mode. On the Direct HMD mode, it is impossible for games. Only works properly with demos in the direct HMD mode. The rift has the status disabled for the direct HMD mode with games. It works with project cars, but with the visors off, with no light. There is somethig that I can do to fix it? What is the problem between the DK2 and Catalyst from AMD?

Honestly, I'm not sure I totally understand what you are saying. Have you tried the Config Util demo scene (included with the runtime) or the Unity Tuscany demo? Do they work? Have you created a profile and set your IPD in the Config Util? Tried switching between Direct and Extended Mode? Some games will only work in Extended Mode.
Also, screenshots of the games with problems, or a list of any error messages you receive would help.

Apologies for reviving an old thread but I need help/guidance.
Got a DK2 and it seems to work,can play lucky tales etc,can even play live for speed with no apparent problems.
problem is possibly with ati?
dirt rally is 'stuttery' and assetto corsa just pauses in the headset but is on the monitor.
don't have option for extended in ati or an OR icon in task tray.
am using 1.6.0 so maybe I need to go back a few releases?
OR is into the hdmi and monitor is into the dvi,ATI R9 290
