SetControllerVibration not working
Hello,
I'm trying to use "OVRInput.SetControllerVibration(1f, 0.8f, OVRInput.Controller.All)", for some reason my gamepad (xbox controller) is not vibrating. Am I doing something wrong ?
Here's my setup : Unity v2017.2.0f3, Oculus Utilities v1.18.1, OVRPlugin v1.18.1, SDK v1.19.0.
Thanks !

- InpuProtegeHello,
Thanks for coming back to me. However it's still not working. Any idea what could be causing that ? There's nothing fancy on my code messing with the gamepad controller. - InpuProtege

Are you testing the vibration with or without wearing the HMD?
While wearing the HMD. - InpuProtege

Can you confirm that you have the oculus run-time installed as well?
Yup, I can definitely confirm that (Sorry for the late answer, I'm not getting notification when someone reply here)
Edit : Even on an empty scene, it's still not working. However I did managed to get the vibration working using some third party library, so I guess my controller is working correctly as well. - james_lueExplorerhttps://answers.unity.com/questions/1375915/how-to-implement-oculus-vr-haptic-feedback.html
this script is much better than SetControllerVibration - james_lueExplorerhttps://answers.unity.com/questions/1375915/how-to-implement-oculus-vr-haptic-feedback.html
