Setting up a wired Xbox Controller

I know this a silly question, but I have looked and looked and cannot find a solution. I have a Macbook Pro and I'm trying to use my wired Xbox 360 controller. I downloaded the Tattie Bogle driver and it's reading all the input (as viewed in the pref panel), but when I run Unity, it won't work. I've tried remapping the controls in my Inout Manager with various solutions I've found around the internet, but no go. I tried remapping the input during the Unity Launch screen (where you select resolution and such) and have only been able to get it so the joystick turns me verrrry slowly left and right. What am I missing here? Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I used the TattieBogle driver and have the wired Xbox controller working for me. I had to buy the cInput2 plugin from the asset store but it works fine in my Rift project.

If you're trying to play existing demos with it you may want to try something like Joystick Mapper or Controllers Lite from the Mac App Store. Also check in your System Preferences and launch the Xbox 360 Controllers panel that got installed with the driver. You can use this to help identify buttons for mapping.

It wasn't easy but once I figured it out I was able to play many of the demos. With some demos the mapping never worked no matter what I did. Ultimately its up to us, the developers, to support the controller mapping within our games. I hope this helps solve your issues.

Here's a few links I used to help setting it up on my Mac:
