8 years ago(SOLVED) Stereo 3D
Hello, I am working on a GearVR app. I am trying to achieve 3D effect. on thumbnails made from a background, middle and foreground layers. These images by itself are not stereo. The layers are on different position along z-axis and scaled down to match thumbnail size (See the attached image to further clarify).
Now I was sure this would make a quasi stereo effect since each eye is rendered from a different position, but this is not the case. There is no depth visible although there is depth between the layers.
I tried moving the layers a bit along negative x-axis and set them to the right-eye layer. Then I duplicated them and moved them for the same amount along positive x-axis and set them to the left-eye layer. Now depth is visible while also making them appear as stereo.
Is there another way besides using stereo images? Am I missing something?

- AnonymousYes, it looks like that scaling might be the issue. I made the whole menu huge and moved it -200 units along z-axis.
Thanks for the answer.
