7 years agostereo billboards floating
using the unity Video Player i have placed 3 min. of left and right stereo video of a violin player on 2 flat polygonal billboards into a 3d modeled environment. to transition the billboards into the scene i roto'd out his feet and replaced them with 3d modeled geometry. i then run each billboard through the left and right eyes using the standard 'layers, culling mask and target eye' settings and then create a 'build'. the stereo illusion works quite well, however the musician appears to be floating off the floor in the oculus headset, but looks perfectly grounded on my computer monitor. does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?

- Anonymousi'm not using any of the unity utilities integration software - could you please elaborate how that might help? I also don't know how to provide an image, since it only occurs in the oculus headset and is fine on my monitor - is there a way to screen grab from the headset itself? it's straight forward though, on my monitor it's solidly grounded, in the headset it's floating a foot off the ground
