Stutter in tuscany

I am getting a horrible, constant judder when running the tuscany demo I built in unity. I followed the instructions and set the settings like it told me to, but when I run it is unusable due to the extreme judder. I think vsync may not be working, as my framerate jumps around a lot according to fraps, even though I set VSync Count to "Every VBlank". Any ideas how to fix this?

Are you logged in as admin user or as non-admin?

I experience a lot of judder in Unity Tuscany (and other demos) in DirectToRift when I'm logged in as non-admin user (have to manually start service then). Onscreen menu (SPACE) shows fps at around 76-77.

When I log in as admin everything is smooth and fps solid at 75.

Using DirectToRift mode and SDK 0.4.1 on Win7.
