The default splash image on Unity Free is killing my eyes
I'm definitely cool with attributing credit to Unity, it's the least I could do for letting me use their incredible tool for free, but I'm not cool with the discomfort that the default splash screen causes on VR headsets and I'm thinking about buying the pro version just to resolve this issue. If I'm using the free version of Unity 4.63 (or 5), am I forced to ship my VR app with the default Unity splash screen that hurts everyone's eyes? Most of the Oculus docs instruct you to set the splash image to a solid black color, but that doesn't appear to be an option on the free version of Unity. I did a quick search on this topic and couldn't find any way around it, so I just wanted to double-check and make sure. Thanks!

hate the old one so much. - BishopOfBattleExplorerThanks, Piggy1, I'm using Unity v 4.6.3f1. How do I enable that VR-friendly splash screen in the Android player for a GearVR app?
- cyberealityGrand ChampionI actually thought this was fixed at one point, but looks like it might have come back.
However, it is on the radar to be fixed in the future. Sorry. - BishopOfBattleExplorerOk, thanks for the update.
