Tint color brightness issues

Hi, Has anyone noticed a problem with Unity's tint color slider and oculus?  I looked at different particles system in Unity, they look much brighter in the headset. (You can try the "steam" particles as an example) To approximate the same color I see on screen I have to make the tint close to zero. Same for a skybox. During a fade in/fade out my BG is supposed to be entirely black but I could always see a grey square. Again, it was the tint color. I had to make it zero. I can provide a scene example if someone is interested. Thanks.

It sounds like most of your scene is pretty dark and you have almost-black particles that are a little too bright. If so, this could be a known issue with the Rift's panel, which varies slightly in low-brightness response. If most of your scene is pretty bright and the particles look blown-out, it could be a different issue. In that case, can you click Help > Report a bug... in Unity and then share the case number it emails you here?
