Tuscany Unity 5
Hi,
Just wanted to ask about running Tuscany with Unity 5. I upgraded the project from Unity 4.6.1 to Unity 5 and at the same time upgraded the Oculus plugin and SDK to work with version 0.6. When running the project however, I've noticed quite a dip in performance.
Was just wondering if anybody else had attempted the same procedure and whether there's anything in particular that's cauing such bad performance? Unity 4 can run the scene in 60+ fps where as I had to turn off a lot of objects and shadows to get the Unity 5 version close to that. I seemed the notice the terrain was quite intensive but I also wondered whether the new sdk was just generally more hardware intensive. The machine I'm using only has a 760 gtx graphics card so it could just be my machine.
Thanks
