Unable to load shim: DisplayShim initialization failure
If I run my program (Whirligig player) and the Oculus hasn't been detected or is off in the Oculus Configuration program then I often get this message 'Unable to load shim: DisplayShim initialization failure'. I don't get any error messages in the editor. I've not noticed this message in earlier version of this SDK. Anyone else noticed this issue?

- DeanOfTheDriverProtegeWe are aware of the issue and can confidently say this will be resolved in the next release.
- philedayMemberReally good to know :) I look forward to the next release.
- KrisITBExplorerI suddenly started to receive this msg as well, not a big deal as it doesn't seems to affect anything and you just have to dismiss it but I'm happy to hear that you looking into it so thanks in advance
- philedayMemberWas there any resolve on this?
I'm still getting this error in the latest builds and other people are reporting it with my program (Whirligig player). I imagine that the native VR support doesn't suffer from this but I can't use that yet as it doesn't support per eye rendering ( I need that to render stereo side by side video).
Any updates? - philedayMemberI'll post my own updated. The error although still exists in the Oculus intergration it does not exist in the native VR support so currently it isn't an issue any more.
If I do get any problems along the same lines I'll be sure to add to the thread.
