Hi,
When do we get the optimizations and real integration in Unity 5? I'm not 100% sure on this; but I seem to remember this being promised for March when Unity 5 was officially unveiled last month.
Any update?

The Unity launch event happened on March 3rd. Jump to the 2:00:35 mark... Palmer Luckey can be heard stating that the open public beta would be available "later this month"; what was he referring to? If you watch the entire Oculus portion it sure sounds like he's talking about the native implementation inside Unity 5... - OcelotClawLLCHonored GuestUnity was crashing on me seconds after pressing play mode when putting OVRPlayerController in my scene. It took me a couple days of tinkering, but I was able to get rift to pickup in u5 with a rather backwards approach.

I'm curious as to how you know the native Oculus implementation is in that build, but thanks for the info.
