10 years agoUnity 5.1, no positional tracking
Hello everyone,
Sort of a crosspost from the official unity forums
http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/dk2-positional-tracking-in-5-1.332011
I tried out the new native rift support in 5.1, but i can't get positional tracking to work. Rotation works just fine.
VR support is enabled in the player settings. I also tried manually setting VRSettings.enabled to true.
Tried reinstalling the 0.6 runtime, reinstalling unity, restarting everything involved, to no avail.
Positional tracking works just fine in the config utility desk scene and in the 0.6 tuscany demo.
Does anyone have even the slightest clue what could cause this?

- AnonymousOk, so apparently after 2 days of un-/reinstalling everything related to unity and the rift, the problem fixed itself.
Can't really say what it was though. Everything i did, i tried at least 3 times, without any success on the earlier attempts. The only other factors in between were a full pc crash without any cause in the windows event log, and a few recalibrations of my leap motion. - PinglesExplorerStill not working for me. I guess I will try removing and rteinstalling the camera ot see if one sticks.
