Unity compilation problem
Hi there,
I am using the trial version Unity 4.5.5 pro together with the DK1 and Won 8 pro. I have included the OVR Player Controller from the integration pack. I can compile my scene using the integration and everything is diplayed correctly. But the next time I want to compile the scene it wont start anymore. I have to close and open unity again to compile the scene.
Any tips or hints what might go wrong?
Thanks!
Adrian

- cyberealityGrand ChampionWhat do you mean exactly by "won't start"? Does it crash? Black screen? Error message?
Can you also list your system specs, OS, and (in particular) the GPU and GPU driver version? - gabrieadHonored GuestHi,
by "won't start" I mean that the scene is not compiled/rendered again. The "start" button turns blue but the rift warning window does not appear as it was displayed the first time.Any changes made after the first time compiling won't be displayed.
My specs:
Dell XPS 15 9530
--------------------
Intel Core i7-4712HQ
Win 8 pro (x64)
16 GB Ram
-> 2 GB nVidia GeForce GT 750M
-> Intel HD 4600
I have the impression that the combination of the GFORCE and the Intal chip might cause problems as I have problems
with the Oculus Runtime drivers as well.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!
