Unity Demo scene - DK2 - No head tracking ??
Hi,
I can get the demo "Tuscany Scene " loaded into Unity & run it.. but it comes up with "No HMD & Sensors Detected " even though my DK2 is connected & I have two blue lights on camera & HMD.
I've read through the Help Doc. & it simply states
" Press the Play button at the top of the editor. The scene will start with the Rift device con-
trolling the camera's view. "
BUT .. it does't I can only control the camera with W,A,S,D keys & the mouse to look around..
With DK1 I was able to hit play & the HMDs tracking would react perfectly.
note: I can run the DK2 config utility & start the demo scene ( the desk scene) & it works perfectly.
I'm running Unity on a MacBook Pro.. Unity 4.5 Pro, & latest OVR SDK 0.4v
any thoughts on this ??

- MickmanProtegeOk .. so I've worked out that the UnityTuscany Integration Demo does not work with tracking... BUT
the other Oculus Unity Integration does work well.. ( cubes scene )
So now I can move forwards :) - Rom1FromMarsHonored GuestSame Pb here with a Mac.
No Head Tracking on Tuscany Unity but Head Tracking on Desk Demo Scene.
Unity Integration Pb ?
Mickman have you found a solution ? - saelanHonored GuestHi
I have the same issue. But being in a mac environment I thought it was related to the OS...
The OculusUnityDemoScene.app plays perfectly (and also the desk demo scene) so the HMD must work.
But when importing the same demo scene in Unity and run it the NO HMD DETECTED warning pops up.
I am currently working in 4.6 (tried the beta update to see if it helped). But was in the 30days Unity Pro test period before.
Also when "plying" OSX demos found on http://riftenabled.com there will be no head tracking only 3D wiev.
What really puzzles me is how did the Unity guys (or girls) created the demo scene for OSX ?!
I suppose they used the same software...or maybe they created it on a windows machine and "build" it for the OSX platform.
