Has anyone heard anything about the Oculus VR integration for Unity free that was mentioned on the unity blog ?

- Is there a way to pay for Unity Pro just for the month or two before Oculus support is in Unity Free? I had to stop working on my project because I didn't want to pay for a full 12 months of pro if I only need a month or two. Unfortunately, there isn't a month-to-month option available on Unity 3D' website - they seem to make you commit to a year at $840...

I'm probably wrong here, but if your project can be developed with Unity Free, then why not continue with it using the Free version...Then use the new Oculus integration when it gets here?
It's the camera integration that will be free. Or is there more than that involved?- I get this error when opening the Tuscany demo in Unity Free:
License error. This plugin is only supported in Unity Pro! - Free support isn't out yet.

You dont need the tuscany demo to make a game, start developing it like an "ordinary" game in Unity free, and once Rift support is here then integrate it."vrdaveb" wrote:

- Last I've seen, direct oculus support isn't even in the closed beta area right now, so it's still probably a little ways off still.

Yes you can drag it into Unity free .But..
You will probably get a message similar to this:
License error. This plugin is only supported in Unity Pro!
Got the message?- Looks like free support has been added with the new SDK!!!!
