Unity Not Detecting HMD
I've got my Rift up and running, the demo scene in the config utility works. However, in Unity the HMD is not detected, the Rift doesn't turn on.
In the Event Viewer I'm getting a few Oculus related errors (titled OculusVR and OVRServiceLauncher. They give error messages that say:
"The description for Event ID 0 from source OVRServiceLauncher cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer."
My system info can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ve6i546jkx7flaf/DxDiag.txt?dl=0
Please help!

- cyberealityGrand ChampionSounds like a failed install.
First, can you upload the Oculus log files (in c:/program files(x86)/oculus/logs)?
After that you can try to install again w/ run as admin. - TickTockManHonored GuestI'm getting a similar issue. Mac Pro Bootcamped to PC. Demo scene, Tuscany, and downloads from Share.oculusvr do work, but files generated from Unity on my own machine can't turn on the headset.
The Unity Intergration Readmefirst specifies to download the Unity SDK but I can only find Unity 4 Integration, which I don't believe contains drivers. Am I wrong there?
I am given no option in Windows Displays to either extend or mirror monitors as the Rift is not detected while no app is running.
Event Viewer Details:

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
Error: {ERR-023} [TrackingManager] Unable to create detected HMD sensor device - cyberealityGrand ChampionWell the Unity Integration is basically the SDK. It's the same thing. The only drivers are installed as part of the runtime, which I assume you installed if you say Tuscany and other games work.
The detection issue is strange, and I'm not sure what the problem is. I would try switching to Extended Mode if you are in Direct Mode, as some people have better luck in one mode or the other. Make sure only one Rift app is running at a time, because they can conflict. - swampgiantHonored Guest

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same problems with Unity experiences.
