Unity Plugin 0.5.0.1 - DisplayShim not initialized error
When I run a project, on Win 8.1, built with Unity 5 and Unity plugin 0.5.0.1 I get a "DisplayShim not initialized" error. The project still runs after dismissing the error, but it's doesn't connect to the HMD and renders like a normal Windows game.
I found that if I remove the oculusplugin.dll and replace it with an older version (Like the one from the Tuscany demo.) it works.
Any idea on how to get the newer version of the plugin running? Anyone else having this issue?
Thanks.

- cyberealityGrand ChampionAre you running DirectToRift.exe?
- baneoflokiHonored GuestYes. It's also set in the Oculus driver.
- baneoflokiHonored GuestIt looks like the dll in the 0.5.0.1 SDK is truncated?
The oculusplugin.dll from the sdk is 124 kb. The one from the Tuscany demo is 652 kb. Is that correct?
I tried downloading it from a couple of different networks to see if maybe it was my connection, but it's the same size regardless. - cyberealityGrand ChampionThe latest SDK is a new architecture, I don't think comparing file size will prove anything.
I assume you already updated the runtime? Can you try installing again (run as admin)? - baneoflokiHonored GuestThat fixed it. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled the driver. No more problems.
Thanks for your help! - cyberealityGrand ChampionAwesome!
