Upon calling Oculus.Platform.Core.Initialize I am told that Oculus needs to be Upgraded
Using Unity 5.5.2p3, OVR Platform SDK 1.14.0 and ovr utilities 1.14.0, whenever I call Oculus.Platform.Core.Initialize on GearVR a message is displayed saying "A new version of Oculus is required to support your experience in VR" and it asks me to place the phone into the headset to update, however the Oculus app is apparently up to date. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Hi,
Can you reproduce this issue and then go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Unity\Editor\Editor.log to retrieve the log files that unity has left there?
If possible attach the logs to your next response so we can review them.
Thank you!
Hi, I am using a mac for unity development, and the message only occurs when built to a phone. In the editor behaviour that occurs after the Initialization runs as normal (e.g. retrieving Products to purchase in the debug console). Do you still want me to provide the editor log? - arrealityltdHonored GuestI rolled back to version 1.13 of the Platform and it now works as expected.
- tlyonsHonored GuestWe are experiencing the same thing. 1.14
- cyberlukeHonored GuestI'm trying 1.14 and 1.15. Tried Unity 5.5, 5.6 and the latest beta. Tried different combinations. Nothing works!!! And I need the new API. Have anyone at Oculus actualy tried to compile & run anything with Platform SDK since 1.13??? It looks like it has not been tested at all. Please respond ASAP. Thank you.
