Your application uses an online service that no longer works with this device (Quest3).

Hi everyone,

We came across a new message (not a message we ever encountered before) when we attempt to install the application from the Meta Store:

"APPNAME uses an online service that no longer works with this device. Some features may not behave as intended."

The message can be ignored, after which the app is installed as intended, with no side effects AFAIK.

Anyone knows how to find out which service is causing this message to appear?

Thanks in advance!

Hi MRCalderon3D, thanks for following up with your experience!

Do you believe the crash to be related to one of the online services?

Did the crash only started happening after seeing the message I am mentioning?

      Thanks,

  • Same here. I updated the Meta Platform SDK plugin in Unreal Engine because I thought it might be related, but the message still appears

  • Hi, have you managed to solve this? We started getting this message since yesterday as well. We are using Unity and these components:

    1. com.unity.services.vivox 16.6.0
    2. com.unity.services.leaderboards 2.2.1
    3. com.unity.services.multiplayer 1.1.3
    4. com.meta.xr.sdk.platform 74.0.0
    5. com.unity.xr.meta-openxr 2.1.1
    6. com.unity.xr.openxr 1.14.3
