0.7.0.0 beta runtime black artifacts and judder

I tried updating to 0.7.0.0 beta and I'm getting black artifacts in my DK2 and a stuttering effect every few seconds. Is it possible to fix this or download an older runtime? I have a demo on Friday.. any help would be awesome. Thanks.

EDIT: Same problem being experienced here:

How can I download the last runtime before 0.7.0.0?

EDIT: Now I'm getting complete digital distortion sometimes when I run VR Preview in Unreal. It flashes white and then just displays flickering artifacts and distortion.

  • This was a known issue with older NVIDIA VR-capable drivers. Have you tried the very latest? The 0.6.0.1 runtime is still available here: https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/ ... r_Windows/ All I had to do was go to developer.oculus.com/downloads and set Platform = PC, Version = 0.6.0.1-beta.
  • Thanks for the responses, guys.

Yes, this seems to have fixed the black artifacts and constant judder, however now when I start up the Rift I get crazy digital distortion every so often. Have you experienced this?

Ah yes, that works. I was looking under 0.6.1.0. Thank you.

Make sure you are using this Nvidia driver: https://developer.nvidia.com/gameworks- ... er-support

This solved black artifacts, judder. Still getting the distortion every so often when trying to preview the level. Any ideas?

    Thanks, guys!
