5 years agoGPU Lightmass for Quest2 ?
Does anybody know if the GPU Lightmass also works for VR production? 
Just curious. Because the GPU Lightmass requires Ray Tracing, but no way to use Ray Tracing for VR.
And so far all my tests, baking with GPU Lightmass and deploying to the Quest2 failed.

it works. its a technique that's used by the unreal editor and when its done, its the same sort of baked lightmaps as when using a different technique. It should deploy to the quest without any problem and because its baked, it doesn't require raytracing when running on the quest.
