I noticed Andrew Reisse was on the UDK integration Documentation last night, and made that assumption for myself.
While it is frustrating seeing a bunch of unity integrations flooding the demo sites, I for one am going to stick with UDk, and patiently wait for someone else to take up the helm at Team Oculus.
Im sure it's not a light position to fill, and we UDK guys might have to figure a couple of these issue out on our own in the mean time, or atleast contribute to the trouble shooting of these issues, and help a team in mourning whom have brought us such an awesome oportunity.
No matter what the reason, we still should be given some form of answer. Just because of Reisse's passing does not given them free reign to ignore their customers.
If the lack of updates regarding UDK is because of Reisse's untimely passing, then they should let us know! I'd be much more understanding if the situation was in regards to this. What I'm not okay with is sitting in the dark, not knowing anything, after I've put money down.
So whether this has to do with Reisse or otherwise, the Oculus team really owes it to us, their paying customers, to give us an update on why UDK is so broken and what is being done to fix it.
