Noob Q? How to create a toggle for Rift/Regular?

I don't think you can use the Rift in the editor, unfortunately.
In terms of toggling the Rift, have your tried the "stereo on" and "hmdwarp on" commands. You can probably do "off" too, though I haven't tried this yet. Might be what you are looking for.
