OculusID & Oculus Name prints as string of numbers


Hello,

following up from my now successful entitlement check and Get Oculus Identity it seems like the Unreal Get Oculus Identity node just prints out a list of numbers for the ou-pins 'Oculus ID' and 'Oculus Name'.

I was expecting some readable text for at least one of those two.
Furthermore they both print the same list of numbers.

 Is this correct behaviour? Could it be anything I'm doing wrong or what could this be?

EDIT:  UE 4.16.1 btw

    Hi Fredrum,

    Using your blueprint layout I was able to view both my Oculus Id and Oculus Name

    When you view your Output Log in the editor does it also print your Oculus Id for both fields?

    When you right-click on the Append nodes for Oculus Id and Oculus Name are they connected to the correct value in 'Get Oculus Identity'?

    Hi Juan,
     thanks for helping me trying to figure this out!

    I just checked the Output Log window and it has written the same stuff there as it printed to the screen. (seen in the screen grab in op)

    And I also double checked the connections and yep they are correct.

  • I was having the same problem, and I found you have to run the entitlement check before you get the name.  Hope this helps
