Reference Space Setup

Is there a way to simply reference my space from "Space Setup". In the headset under "Settings/Environment setup/Space setup" I saved a space called "Basement". I would like to use that information to align my level. I created a haunted house for my garage and I would like to just align my level to my space/play area for a real time walk-through. What are the steps in Blueprint to reference this information?

  • you can use the MRUK to reference objects to wall, floor, ceiling and so on.
You can also reference everything to a specific actor and transform that actor and save it as a spatial anchor for posterior use. This way you would need to align everything only on the first time, after that everything would be aligned because of the spatial anchor

Good to know. Can you give me a step by step on how to get that to work? I always read about how these features are supposed to work but not step by step on how to get it to work. In the past "Get Play Area Transform" used to work by splitting the "Return Value" and plugging "Return Value Location" and "Return Value Rotation" to the corresponding location and rotation of "Set World Transform"
