Rift UDK fails to package its own executable
I'm fairly sure this is an issue caused by the updated .exe in this post: viewtopic.php?p=70983#p70983
Previous to using that version of UDK I had built and packaged a test game that a friend was able to install and launch. After using that fixed version to fix the scenecaptureactor bug packaging the game fails to include UDK.exe.
I'm curious if anyone has a decent work-around that doesn't require returning to the original (Reflection bugged) version? Or is it more a case of wait until the properly fixed next version?

- MrNexyExplorerRumor was that the next version should be arriving this month sometime , though with how busy they've been with CES one could understand a delay.
Give this a go :
Make a copy of your patched UDK.exe and Rename it to UDK.eee , then go to Unsetup.Manifest.xml and add that file name under <GameFilesToInclude>. It should package just fine , then once installed you can go into the Binary Directory and rename UDK.eee to UDK.exe.
I've been using that myself , lets hope that we get a new OUDK build soon :) - tangvaldHonored GuestHas this issue been solved? I have a full game ready to ship out and I still can't resolve this issue. Any help is appreciated!
- cyberealityGrand ChampionUDK development and support stopped a long time ago. Sorry.
