Stereo sound problem in rift
Hello.
I have a problem with sound.
In my level you are not a player (pawned in playerstart)
At the begging you start as camera actor.
I dont have a Stereo Sound effect.
No meter how i rottate my head it doesnt efect the direction of sound (always play in both ears - doesnt react to head rotation). Is it normal becous of camera actor or rift controlling rotation instead of mouse? Can i fix it someway?

- OlivierJTExplorerBonjour lazniak,
There is something you should know : Stereo sound doesn't have positional tracking.
it not related to the Rift, it the way UDK handle things.
If you want positional audio you need to have a sound outputed in MONO. So your .wav file is mono.
If it's stereo, well : 2 ears but no position.
To say it in another way : Stereo sounds are like BGM.
Cheers,
Ol - lazniakHonored GuestThats all? Mono sound is the solution. I realy dont think so...
I dont need stereo sound, i need stereo effect (tracking of my head).
It works when i play as a standard player, with mouse to control rotation -although with rift head tracking system, it doesnt.
Is it a normal behavior for UDK? - OlivierJTExplorer
