Toyification in God View

I'm working on a top down game and wondering what experience anyone has with toyification. If anyone has experienced the Crescent Bay demo....an example would be the floating city...

I'm trying to figure camera angles and convergence levels

Easy, don't mess with angles or convergence. Just scale your scene down, that's all it takes.

To add to this: While "toyification" is beyond awesome, do be careful not to take this to the extreme. Stereoscopic 3D in VR HMD's like the Rift compel the eyes to focus at infinity to get a clear image regardless of how close a virtual object is. Since this goes against a lifetime of refocusing + eyes converging in tandem (accommodation convergence reflex) it can be uncomfortable to look at things very close. Oculus' Best Practices Guide has a rule of thumb to not require the user to look at things that are closer than half a meter away. In practice it's still comfortable to look at things a bit closer than that, but you can really start to feel discomfort when you get within a foot away (at least for me).
