UDK Shadows Bug
(Posted in here instead of the SDK bugs forum because this specifically relates to UDK)
When running certain maps from the Oculus-enabled UDK (uploaded Apr. 1st, 2013) the shadows will be missing from the right view. See the below Youtube video for a visual explanation of the bug:

Even if you don't have a Rift on, you should be able to spot the issue in the above video (though you can also wear a Rift to watch in stereoscopic 3D :P )
I've experienced this bug on two different computers (one AMD GPU/Windows Vista, the other NVidia GPU/Windows 7), so this doesn't appear to be a computer problem. This glitch only appears to happen on certain maps. So far I've seen the Foliage map and the NightDayCycle map have this problem, but the MobileCastle map, the Epic Citadel map, and the two gameplay maps, CTF-Necropolis and DM-Deck all work fine.

- NETrom1970Honored GuestNope its a UDK problem. Have see other people have the same problem on other forums.
Haven seen it my self because i have´t come so far en my level building yet. Light is the last thing i look at. ;) - cyberealityGrand ChampionThanks for pointing this out. Give us a minute to investigate the issue.
- roculus99ProtegeThis can be fixed by changing the UDKSystemSetting.ini:
DynamicShadows=False - tagrassHonored GuestTurning off dynamic shadows is just a temporary solution, all that does is remove the offending shadows. The real issue appears to be the non stereo rendering of dynamic shadows.
- areisseHonored GuestHere's another workaround:
Disable just "whole scene" shadows in UDKSystemSettings.ini:
DynamicShadows=True
bAllowWholeSceneDominantShadows=False
This gives better results than disabling all dynamic shadows (in FoliageMap the shadows except the tree in front of the sun will animate).
