UE4 4.5.1 & 4.6.0 integrations with 0.4.4 SDK are published
Hey guys,
Just a notification that new integration is published at viewtopic.php?f=63&t=17714
UE 4.5.1: https://github.com/Oculus-VR/UnrealEngine/tree/4.5
UE 4.6.0: https://github.com/Oculus-VR/UnrealEngine/tree/4.6
The main new feature in 4.6.0 integration: we've added 'VR Preview' mode into the Editor that works the same way as 'New Editor Window' preview mode, but in stereo and in the Oculus Rift. We recommend to use Direct mode for that (Extend mode will limit refresh rate to 60Hz instead of 75, and this will be addressed later).

- PatimPatamProtegeI think that artyom is actually referring to this:

(you have to be logged in GitHub to see it) - artyom17Expert ProtegeAh, sorry, yes, that link is visible only for licensees. For $19-subscribers the integrations are on github:
UE 4.5.1: https://github.com/Oculus-VR/UnrealEngine/tree/4.5
UE 4.6.0: https://github.com/Oculus-VR/UnrealEngine/tree/4.6 - GnometechStart PartnerHaving immediate access to the 0.4.4 runtime is great, and the new VR Preview is a nice bonus. Posted an image blog about it: http://imgur.com/a/PbgyF and also on reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/2oebq7/new_oculusvr_version_of_ue4_v46_includes_ovr_044/
Keep it up! :D
- Dave - GnometechStart PartnerOh, I should mention that a small annoyance with the new VR Preview session is that when you return back to the UE4 Editor, the Editor's window is no longer maximized (which is how I normally use it). I have to keep hitting the window's maximize button.

Thanks! Out of curiosity, what do I need to do to get access to the Oculus-VR/UnrealEngine project on github? Is there a way to request access?
P.S.: I am logged into GitHub, but as is usual with GitHub, if you do not have access to a project, they provide a 404 page instead. - artyom17Expert ProtegeYou must be a subscriber of https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine and logged in to the corresponding account.

Is there a place to go to do that? Usually, at least on projects I have hosted on GitHub, I have had to invite people to the project.
Edit: I followed the 1,2,3 instructions found here https://www.unrealengine.com/ue4-on-github to get access to EpicGames/UnrealEngine. Skipped step 1 as I already had an account. It then sent an invite to my account on GitHub which I accepted. I now have access
